'The Only Way Is Essex' star Kirk Norcross leaving show?

Kirk Norcross may leave The Only Way Is Essex, it has been reported.

Norcross, who has featured on the ITV2 reality show since it debuted last year, has been approached for a new series of Channel 5 dating series The Bachelor, according to the Daily Star.

"Kirk has been approached to join The Bachelor... He's jumping at the chance to leave TOWIE and do something more dynamic," the paper quotes an insider as saying.

"He has an eye for the ladies and has been saying for a while it's time to find a nice girl and settle down."

The source continued by saying that Norcross hopes to "find the perfect lady" and is "well up" for the show after seeing how much Gavin Henson enjoyed himself.

Henson featured in the first series of The Bachelor, which follows the format of a long-running ABC show of the same name in the US.

The rugby player chose to start a relationship with model Carianne Barrow in the first series finale.

Amy Childs left The Only Way Is Essex earlier this year, originally to take part in a relaunched Celebrity Big Brother.

She has since secured her own reality show, It's All About Amy, which debuts on Channel 5 next month.

Mark Wright has also left The Only Way Is Essex and is currently taking part in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
