Elle Macpherson's Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model kicked off last night (July 9) with a new lineup of beautiful girls and an equally stunning new panel of judges.
The chiselled cheekbones of Tyson Beckford and US fashionista Whitney Port have joined Elle and Top Model regular Julien Macdonald to size up the talent in 2012, and Digital Spy caught up with the foursome at the show's launch last month.
Elle and the gang talked about the new judging dynamic, Julien Macdonald's catty put-downs and the difference between a beautiful girl and a supermodel.
"All women are beautiful, but a model to me is someone who can represent and wear clothes in a certain way that can make everything pop and stand out," said Port. "They have something unique about them that only a camera can capture."
"They have the model X Factor," added Macdonald.
Macpherson explained: "You can see a really beautiful girl in the street, but when you put them in front of a camera sometimes there's just nothing going on."
Britain & Ireland's Next Top Model continues on Monday nights at 9pm on Sky Living.
