'Britain's Got Talent': Stephen Mulhern's blog - week six
Published Apr 28 2012, 00:01 BST | By Alex Fletcher and Stephen Mulhern Stephen Mulhern
has been so busy preparing for the upcoming Got Talent
live shows that he hasn't had time to do his weekly BGT
blog this week.
But fear not Mulhern fans! Our favourite BGT
presenter (who needs Ant & Dec anyway!) still had time to answer some quick-fire questions via email about the latest antics behind the scenes and who we can expect to see taking to the stage and facing the buzzers tonight.Who is your favourite act from this week's show?
"My favourite act on ITV1 is a young boy just nine years old by the name of Malaki, an incredible singer and a lovely young man. It's great to see such young talent in this country." Who is the best performer on More Talent tonight?
"My favourite act on ITV2 is without fail Big Dave! He is a strong man who can pull buses, helicopters and lift cars. But he couldn't even open a tomato sauce for me! It was one of the funniest moments in six years!" Any chance of 'Man In A Bag' from last week's More Talent returning? I loved him!
"I loved man in a bag too and yes I would have him back. Maybe he could ask a question to one of our guests each day in the live shows! In fact I have just decided, if we can't get him for every show he can come on the final night." Do you think Loveable Rogues from last weekend can genuinely go on to have a credible music career?
"I honestly believe the Loveable Rogues are going to be massive no matter if they win or not. They are really talented and have got something very unique about them." Which act has generated the most excitement from the public during the series?
"I should think Mr Zip with, 'Where my keys, where my phone!' Someone is going to have a big hit!"The show's ratings are up this year. Why do you think that is?
"I think Simon coming back and the new panel has really helped. Also the style of the show has changed and it feels warmer. The talent is of a really high standard this year as well." There are rumours Amanda might leave next year. Would she be missed?
"If Amanda left she would definitely be missed, she is such great fun. And very sympathetic with the auditionees. Plus we love her on BGMT
!" Which act are you most looking forward to seeing in the semi-finals?
"If they get through I can't wait to see what Ashleigh and Pudsey do. And Dennis with his golden wings! Mr Zip intrigues me. And if the Showbears are in the semi-finals will David return to join them?!"Britain's Got Talent airs tonight at 8.30pm on ITV1.
