George Sampson: 'Voice is competition for Britain's Got Talent' - video

George Sampson has revealed to Digital Spy that he is going to start watching Britain's Got Talent again because of the launch of The Voice.

The dancer, who won the second series of Got Talent, claimed that the BBC reality programme would improve the standard of the ITV1 show.

"Last year I didn't watch much of it. Jai won it, and I met him and he was a really nice guy and I wished I'd watched it more," he told Digital Spy.

"But this year with the back-to-back with The Voice, I'm probably going to watch to get a opinion on it all. They've got competition now."

Offering advice to this year's BGT acts, he added: "Just do your thing. Whether you get through or not, just do your thing."

Sampson is currently promoting his latest big-screen role in StreetDance 2, which is released in cinemas later this week.
