Simon Cowell is said to have helped the pair, who both made the show's final, secure their deals.
O'Shaughnessy has written seven new songs for his debut album, which will include 'No Name', the track about his unrequited love for friend Katie Keegan.
Both singers are expected to have albums out in time for Christmas.
"There are big plans for Molly and Ryan," a source told the newspaper.
"They both deserve record deals. Ryan is a great singer and Molly's got so much talent at such a young age she could be a huge star of the future."
O'Shaughnessy finished in fifth place on Britain's Got Talent with 4.8% of the public vote, while Rainford came in sixth with 2.8%.

Anybody that lands a record deal courtesy of BGT or X Factor tends to get dropped after 1 year. Simon Cowell's shows are complete and utter rubbish.
