Britain's Got Talent star Chica Latina has claimed that her initial audition for the show was hampered by a "pretty severe" illness. The Columbian singer, who gave a patchy rendition of Tina Turner's 'River Deep, Mountain High', insisted that she will sound "absolutely different" when she performs again in the live semi-finals this week.

"I had a pretty severe illness... my voice [was] gone completely before the show," she told Digital Spy. "Three days before the show I had antibiotics... but I made it.
"My voice [is] absolutely different. I got very worried last time I auditioned because I couldn't reach the high notes. I don't know how I did it. Now I feel very good."
Latina added that she will "absolutely" flirt with Simon Cowell again when she returns to the stage, as their affection for each other has not damaged her relationship.
"Simon was very kind to me. He saw something in me," she explained. "My husband understands, obviously. It's fine. I love my husband, you know. Nothing will change.
"[But] I love Simon... he's a magnet for women. I really, really like [flirting], especially with Simon."
The first Britain's Got Talent live show will air tomorrow (Sunday, May 6) at 8pm on ITV1.

Sadly the judges feel they have to make the line up 40% joke acts so they can push what Cowell favours through.

Being a mental Columbian is not an illness.

Once again a spot on a 'talent' show goes to a novelty act rather than one who actually has talent.
