Amanda Holden: 'Britain's Got Talent return is euphoric'

Amanda Holden has said that her return to the Britain's Got Talent panel feels "euphoric" following the difficult birth of her daughter Hollie.The 40-year-old actress is to rejoin judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams for auditions in Edinburgh today (February 11).

Holden was forced to pull out of the show on January 23 when she entered hospital to give birth to Hollie through an emergency caesarean, later undergoing blood transfusions after she was left "fighting for life".
"I am euphoric to be heading back to my place at the judges' desk," she declared. "To be honest after the last couple of weeks I'm euphoric to be anywhere!"
Holden also said that she has decided against bringing baby Hollie to auditions for the time being.
"This is just a very fleeting visit to Scotland and with the weather being so extreme I've decided to let my mum have some quality time with her new granddaughter," she explained. "But I am looking forward to introducing Hollie to everyone on my next trip."
Carmen Electra has been filling in for Holden at Britain's Got Talent auditions in London this week.

Just once, I'd like to see a "star" put their children first and take a break from work. So many mums have no option but to go straight back after giving birth, but she's lucky enough not to have to. Yet already she's talking about showing the baby off... it's a human being, not a money-making opportunity.
