He emerged from a giant seashell in week one, rode a bucking bronco before dancing the paso doble and on Saturday night's Wembley special, Russell Grant topped the lot as he was fired into the arena from a giant cannon.However, the ride had to end somewhere, and for fans of Team Grant the journey came to a halt last night as he became the latest celebrity to face the chop from the BBC One reality show.
The TV astrologer's dancing "will never be forgotten", according to Len Goodman, and it's hard to disagree with those comments.
