'Strictly Come Dancing' Alex Jones: 'Matt Baker is my fifth judge'

Alex Jones has claimed that her One Show co-host Matt Baker is her fifth Strictly Come Dancing judge.

Jones, who is dancing with James Jordan on the BBC reality show, revealed that Baker gives her tips and advice every Monday morning at work.

Baker finished runner-up on last year's Strictly when he danced with Aliona Vilani.

Jones told It Takes Two: "Matt was excellant and he set the bar so high. He didn't want to say too much or he may step on James's feet, but he's really encouraging and he's like a fifth judge.

"Judges on Saturday night and Matt on Monday morning!"

Jones also claimed that this week's jive routine may be the first that helps her shed pounds on the show.

"It's like doing a marathon," the TV presenter said. "People have said, 'Oh, have you lost weight doing Strictly?' This week might be the breakthrough."
