Has Aiden Grimshaw recorded the best ever 'X Factor' Loser's Single?

The response on Digital Spy was overwhelming. "Wow, I'm really impressed! Sounds awesome!" "Worth the wait!" and "Aiden Grimshaw get in my bed" were among the early comments, and we found it hard to disagree.
Has Grimshaw recorded the best ever X Factor debut 'Loser's Single'? Unlike the rush-recorded winners' tracks, he's actually got some tough competition. We round up some of the other contenders and remind you of what we said about them at the time.
JLS: 'Beat Again'
"Alexandra Burke best have something good up her sleeve because her old rivals have laid down a fairly decent gauntlet here."
Diana Vickers: 'Once'

After listening to those tracks alongside some of the lukewarm covers from the show winners, all we can say is roll on

liked and rated aiden, and rebecca, both origonal doing their own sound on sc show, shame he was dumped early, too quirky and earthy for some taste,s, and it is initial hype for some, but cant say that for aiden 2yr later, self penned and decent lst record, good luck to him

Very much agree....tbh Aiden intrigues and excites me as an artist...moving away from the X Factor staple...i venuinely feel we need someone like him in British Pop tbh. I mean it is the sounds he likes and lsitens to...and may be my first "X Factor Origin" album I own...and only one I may ever own (untilhis follow up possibly) I am impressed tbh! The dark horse of the 2010 competitions...and now releasing one of my favourite sonvs this year already....Aiden has it in the bag!
