Anastacia to 'guest judge X Factor in Glasgow'

US pop singer Anastacia is apparently going to be the latest guest judge when the X Factor UK auditions head to Glasgow next week.The 'I'm Outta Love' singer tweeted to her fans that she would be at the ITV1 reality show's latest filming dates during a trip to Europe.

Commenting on her European jaunt, she said: "Head 2 Berlin for Skoda show then Glasgow 4 XFactor auditions. Funfunfun (sic)."
The 43-year-old singer has reality TV experience, having appeared as a judge on Channel 5's short-lived Glee-inspired series Don't Stop Believing.
Anastacia has sold over 20 million records worldwide and scored six top 20 hits in the UK between 2000 and 2004 when she released the albums Not That Kind, Freak of Nature and her self-titled third LP.
If she does join the judging panel, she will become the sixth guest judge of the series, following Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Nicole Scherzinger, Leona Lewis and Rita Ora.
Halliwell, Mel B, Scherzinger and Rita Ora are all thought to still be in the running to join Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh as the fourth full-time judge.
X Factor's Glasgow auditions take place next week. The show will wrap up its UK tour with dates in Newcastle and Cardiff later this month.

she may-be out of the 'spotlight' and you can imagine, people will question her like Ablisa did a few years back to NAtalia Imbruglia "Who are you?"
but there's no questions this time - this is somebody who, yes, okay, may not be able to break America - but she's cracked the whole of Europe - and is loved by many of the mainland countries - and during her 'Anastacia' album era - she was at her peak!
She is a performer - she has it all! I'm so excited that she's doing the show - my prayers are answered - she should do a permanent stunt - it would help regain her popularity in the UK and help with her 5th album

Incredible artist, she is by far more qualified than anyone so far. Not only that she needs to get herself out there musically, far too underrated an artist for my liking!!

THIS IS WHO SHOULD BE PERMANENT JUDGE PEOPLE!!! Someone with the talent and experience to back it up, not crap singers like Cheryl Cole who have to rely heavily on looks and autotune to get by. And it could be a perfect boost for her career if she does well. Send the other lame choices home.
