Geri Halliwell on X Factor guest stint: 'I don't care about reaction'

Geri Halliwell has said she is prepared to be heckled during her stint on The X Factor.The Spice Girls star, on the judging panel for the first round of auditions in Liverpool, insisted that she will not take any criticism to heart.

"I don't mind if people want to take the p*ss out of me," she told the Daily Star.
"You get to a certain age where you think, 'Whatever'. A really big fat boo is good for you, you cannot take it personally.
"Of course they're going to boo as they're protecting their friends. I want to do my best and I'm so grateful for the opportunity. It's a really, really good show."
The 39-year-old provoked a fairly negative reaction when she filled in for Dannii Minogue alongside Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell in 2010.
However, Halliwell believes she may stay on the panel for the entire series, being drawn on the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.
"Whoever I bring as my guest helper will be authentic to me. It wouldn't be rent-a-celeb," she said.
Gary Barlow yesterday suggested Halliwell may continue on the ITV singing show after the Liverpool auditions.

I imagine she probably cost about 50p. In fact, she's probably paying Simon to let her stay.
