"The UK's biggest show still dominates debate among TV viewers, love it or hate it," said Digital Spy editor David Moynihan.
"Simon Cowell hasn't been out of headlines recently but at least this should help him make his next huge decision - which leading lady to replace Kelly Rowland with. The public have spoken and it's clear that Dannii is their favourite to return - by a mile."

At the bottom of the list of replacements were Simon Cowell's close friend Sinitta, who only racked up 1.1% of the vote, and series one X Factor winner Steve Brookstein, who only 1.5% of fans want to see back on the show.

Oliver Kiddell you are so right. Problem is it is a known fact that more people make the effort to complain than praise. Had it beenDannii, Cheryl or Sharon there would have been a mass slating session.
What Simon and people forget is if you read the now annual NOW, HEAT, CLOSER, TV TIMES, the SUN, Mail, Telegraph etc from a few years back, all those papers and mags ranging from gossip mags/papers to supposedly intelligent and posh magazines/papers that Dannii almost unanimously topped the best Judge polls. Something i suspect Simon hoped he or Cheryl would top.
Not surprising that Dannii has once again topped this poll. The negativity that was for Dannii in her first year on show soon passed when people realised she was the genuine artical. Both Dermot Oleary and brian Friedman said Dannii spent more time with her acts and in studio than any other judges. Dermot and Brian both said many behind the scenes people had Dannii on speed dial. I read that in interviews with them, can not remember what mags were from though.
I so hope Dannii does return but bet she doesn't.

I liked Cheryl from Girls Aloud days but she was always obscure to me. I missed her first series on X Factor so I first saw her in Series 6 and didnt like her from then on. Gamugate didnt really bother me.
