'Take Me Out' reject Damion Merry attempts 'X Factor' audition

Take Me Out reject Damion Merry will be among the contestants performing for the X Factor judges this year.Merry, who briefly dated Jodie Marsh, was embarrassed during his appearance on dating show Take Me Out, when he managed to annoy the entire panel of female contestants. His terrible performance on the Paddy McGuinness series was watched by over one million people on YouTube.

The 27-year-old was among the hopefuls who queued up at London's 02 Arena at the weekend as the first round of auditions for the X Factor began.
Merry made the cut at the producer auditions and will now face the X Factor judging panel later this year.
Other auditionees on this year's X Factor have included Page 3 girl Emily O'Hara and former Bad Lashes singer Emily McNamee.
X Factor judges' auditions will take place during the summer ahead of the show's return for a ninth series in the autumn.
