N-Dubz star Dappy has laid into The X Factor again, hours after his bandmate Tulisa Contostavlos won the show with Little Mix.

The 'No Regrets' singer congratulated his cousin on her victory during a concert at Manchester's Academy 2 on Sunday (December 11), before going on to rant about the apparent lack of credibility in the ITV programme.

"This is what fame is," he told the audience. "Not standing for hours outside to audition for X Factor... F**k Simon Cowell!"

Dappy also addressed X Factor bosses' decision to ban him and N-Dubz rapper Fazer from assisting Contostavlos at the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.

"We wanted to go on The X Factor to be with Tulisa on Judges' Houses but the people who own it thought we were too much of a gamble," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.

"That we wasn't right. I'm devastated they don't think we're capable of going on there and helping her."

Dappy previously blasted The X Factor for giving unfair fame to contestants, though he claimed in August that he has become a fan of the show.
