'X Factor' Little Mix's Perrie Edwards denies Zayn Malik romance

Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has denied that she is romancing One Direction's Zayn Malik.

The X Factor singer was linked to the boyband star after the duo reportedly bonded during filming for this year's charity single 'Wishing On A Star'.



Fellow One Direction member Niall Horan allegedly also has a crush on the girl group performer.

However, Edwards has rubbished claims that she is dating Malik, saying that they have only maintained a text relationship.

"Apparently we are dating," she told The Mirror. "We met One Direction at the charity single and Jade is mates with them. We did text and I said thanks for the support. But, no, we didn't kiss."

Edwards's mentor Tulisa Contostavlos also ruled out any romances for her act Little Mix, commenting: "I'd smack [Perrie's] bum if she was kissing backstage!"

The X Factor final airs on Saturday (December 10) at 8pm on ITV1.
