Saturday's glitch-ridden live show entertained 5.68m (27.9%) on BBC One between 6.30pm and 8pm, increasing marginally on last week's series low.
Despite Chelsea's dramatic win over Bayern Munich on penalties, the UEFA Champions League was the lowest-watched final featuring an English team in recent memory, scoring an average of 6.53m (29%) on ITV1 between 7pm and 11.30pm and 1.49m (6.7%) for Sky Sports's coverage between 7pm and 10.30pm.
However, a total of 12.1 million were glued to the penalty shoot-out between 10.15pm and 10.30pm on ITV and Sky. The figure is likely to be higher as BARB data does not account for fans watching in pubs.

BBC One's familiar lineup of The National Lottery: In It To Win It (4.29m/18%) and Casualty (4.06m/16.1%) coped fairly well, then a Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow repeat amused 2.34m (9.5%) from 9.50pm.
Channel 4's screening of Titanic enthralled 1.31m (6%) from 6.15pm (+1: 286k), while CSI: NY was Channel 5's saviour with 1.4m (5.7%) at 10pm, and BBC Two had 2.36m (13.8%) for a classic episode of Dad's Army at 6.30pm.
Overall, ITV1 breezed to victory in primetime with 29.8% (+1: 0.2%), way ahead of BBC One's 16.5%. Sky Sports rose to 7.7% to make third place, followed by Channel 4's 5.4% (+1: 1.2%), BBC Two's 4.4%, and Channel 5's 3.4% (+1: 0.2%).

it started well but not as great as the american version but then it drops in entertainment wise, the voices alones which i think are pretty good for a first year of the UK version , but it needs to offer more and this is when you look at the appeal of the coachesand what they offer and no disrespect but tom jones isn't right for the show, danny p*sses me off and william's live tweeting looks disrespectful. the beeb needs to let all 3 go or at least two of them orelse i cant see myself watching it beyond series 1.

the contestants are really good but the live shows are a bit dull they need to improve it if it comes back.

it looks cheap and the talent is nothing special. the judges are already getting on peoples nerves, and the results show being recorded after the live show and being shown the next day is stupid! almost given up...

Strictly do their results show in the same way and no one has EVER claimed that either results show is live.

Since going live the voice uk overall production flaws have become more exposed and the show has the atmosphere of being a bbc pilot rather than ready for screen hopefully they will learn from the first series and return with a much stronger brand. The format breaks down without outstanding talent from the contestants or any kind of frothy smoke and mirrors flippancy that can cover up the lack of talent in a cowell production. Perhaps it can crack it next year.
