The 33-year-old, who starred alongside the likes of James Corden, Ruth Jones and Mathew Horne in the BBC sitcom, revealed that plans to bring the show back in 2012 had been discussed.
"'I hope we'll do a special one day," she told the Daily Mail. "There's been talk of something next year but it's not for sure.
"It would be really fun to meet up with everyone. It's not often you do a job where everyone gels and nobody's an idiot."
Page added that she is so proud of Gavin & Stacey that she doesn't mind being overshadowed by her iconic character.
"People really think I am her," she explained. "Someone said the other day they were watching Love Actually and hadn't realised Stacey was in it. I said, 'No, Stacey isn't in it. I am'."
Page confessed in August that a Gavin & Stacey movie was unlikely to be made.

"The last 2 series and the Xmas special were absolute crap", that's not a fact though, that's your opinion, ten million people watched the final episode. I do agree about Joanna's career, however.

They need to let it go. The last 2 series and the Xmas special were absolute crap. The only reason Joanna wants this to happen is because her career has stalled. I'm off to Superdrug.

I reckon a summer special where the whole gang are on holiday in Benidorm would be mint.

I think they'd overcome their "differences" if needs be.
