'Mock The Week' return amuses 2m

Mock The Week returned with 2m on Thursday evening, while documentary The Duke At 90 outperformed Injustice, according to the latest audience data.

Comedy panel show Mock The Week, presented by Dara O'Briain and featuring comics Chris Addison and Steve Punt, amused 2.01m (10.2%) on BBC Two from 10pm.

The Duke At 90, featuring Fiona Bruce exploring the incredible life of Prince Philip, averaged 5.01m (21.1%) for BBC One in the 9pm hour, beating the penultimate episode of Anthony Horowitz's drama Injustice, which had 4.41m (18.6%) on ITV1 and 242k (1.4%) on +1.

Andrew Marr's Megacities built 2.46m (11%) on BBC One in the 8pm hour and Question Time quizzed 2.68m (21.4%) from 10.45pm. When Piers Morgan Met Andrew Lloyd Webber mustered 980k (7.6%) on ITV1 from 10.30pm.

On BBC Two, Clydebank Blitz educated 1.02m (5.2%) in the 7pm hour, before Springwatch fetched 2.03m (9.1%) from 8pm and 125k (0.6%) on the BBC HD channel. Noir thriller The Shadow Line appealed to 1.31m (5.5%) in the 10pm hour and 142k (0.6%) in HD.

Sarah Beeny's Help! My House Is Falling Down entertained 1.57m (7%) on Channel 4 in the 8pm hour and 441k (1.9%) on +1. Documentary series Born To Be Different captivated 1.89m (8%) from 9pm and 366k (2.1%) an hour later. Dermot's Big Fat Comedy Gala 2011 amused 1.02m (5.9%) in the 10pm hour and 181 (1.9%) on timeshift.

Channel 5's Zoo Days grabbed 353k (1.7%) from 7.30pm, before Emergency Bikers pulled in 819k (3.7%) in the 8pm hour. Extreme Fishing with Robson Green caught 1.2m (5.1%) from 9pm, and a screening of Outlaw took 780k (5.9%) from 10pm.

Overall, ITV1 was victorious in primetime with 23% (+1: 0.7%) against BBC One's 20.7%. BBC Two ranked in third with 6.8%, ahead of Channel 4's 6% (+1: 1.2%) and Channel 5's 3.7%.

Elsewhere, Peter Andre: The Next Chapter entertained 754k (3.2%) on ITV2 in the 9pm hour and 180k (1%) on ITV2+1. Series seven of Johnny Vegas sitcom Ideal continued with 514k (3.3%) on BBC Three from 10.30pm.
