Julian Fellowes interview: The Titanic story breaks your heart - video

Julian Fellowes is probably one of the very few men working in TV brave enough to tackle a drama series as big as Titanic. Steeped in history and with the looming shadow of James Cameron's Oscar-winning movie, creating a mini-series about the famous ship was always going to be a mammoth task.Early reports suggest that Fellowes may have just about pulled off the trick with ITV1 and ABC's mega-bucks production, truly capturing the scale of the 1912 tragedy.
Digital Spy caught up with Fellowes to talk about Downton Abbey comparisons and why he thinks the stories of the Titanic's sinking have endured.
Fellowes's four-part series will premiere this Sunday (March 25) at 9pm on ITV in the UK. It will be shown on ABC in the US.

I find it crap but I have been watching it over and over again manily because I love the story of the Titanic, but this fails in many ways.

One of the worst drama's on tv in recent years, no acting, no drama, no compassion, no sense of urgency - a waste of a good cast, this is ITV falling for the gushing Fellows plots.
