MTV On-Demand is the broadcaster's first online catch-up TV offering, enabling users to enjoy their favourite MTV shows at any time, on a variety of devices.
Launched yesterday, the on-demand service offers full seven-day catch up on the broadcaster's latest programmes, such as Geordie Shore, I Just Want My Pants Back, Jersey Shore and 16 and Pregnant.
Episodes will appear on MTV On-Demand within 24 hours of broadcast. It also features on-demand content from the MTV archive.
"Today's MTV generation is connected and 'always on'," said Philip O'Ferrall, the senior vice president of digital at MTV parent company Viacom International Media Networks.
"The new catch-up service makes our content more accessible and ensures that our fans will never miss an episode of their favourite MTV show."
Users in the UK can pay £2 for 24 hour or £3 for a full week's access via www.od.mtv.co.uk.
Earlier in the week, the creators of South Park launched a new on-demand platform for the show, enabling fans to catch up on the adventures of Cartman, Kyle, Stan and Kenny.
