"Sky Go allows customers to watch channels and a range of on-demand shows and movies in line with their subscription, while on the move in the UK and Ireland, through either a 3G or WiFi connection," read a statement from the broadcaster.
The move takes the total number of Android devices compatible with the service up to 11, with the Ice Cream Sandwich-powered HTC Sensation, HTC Sensation XE and Samsung Galaxy X2 also recently added to the list.
Sky recently unveiled its NOW TV service, an internet-based television streaming platform aimed at users who have previously shunned pay-TV.
Sky Go is also available on iOS devices, PCs and the Xbox 360.

It's aimed at people who don't want a 12 month contract, can't afford to be in a contract, those who don't like/have telephone wires and/or cabling around their homes, people who aren't allowed a Dish on their property (listed or refused permission), people who can't have Sky due to signals being blocked and students who aren't in a permanent resident who can't have the normal set-up among others. It's more than just for people who "shunned pay-tv".
