Twitter to roll out 'search and discovery' update

Company executive Pankaj Gupta claimed in a tweet that the microblogging site's interface is about to "change forever".
"Search and discovery in Twitter [is] set to change forever after tomorrow," he wrote. "Team - congrats and enjoy the enormity of your impact few understand today."
The news follows reports that Twitter is taking action against abusive posters in a bid to tackle so-called "hate speech" on the social network. Chief executive Dick Costolo made the announcement after members of the England football team were racially abused on the site.
Twitter has brought in several new features in recent months, adding tailored trends and 'expanded tweets' functionality to media partners in June.
The new search and discovery update is expected to be released later today (July 6).

Let me guess, showing us less tweets from the people we HAVE followed, and more from people we haven't. Both Facebook and Youtube have adopted this (terrible) model to an extent, so wouldn't be surprised to see Twitter jump on it too.
