Three offers unlimited holiday data plan

The service will be available to customers on extended monthly contracts for £5 per day, and must be activated on a day-to-day basis.
"We think nothing should get in the way of you making the most of your holidays. That's why we're the only network to offer the Euro Internet Pass," said Three in a statement.
"So you'll be free to browse, tweet, update, upload and search away to your heart's content."
The service does not include tethering, and was designed specifically for internet browsing, so streaming video may be not be viable.
Data roaming costs are frequently criticised over their high expense, although they are set to fall this summer following a ruling by the European Parliament.
> England fans warned over high Euro 2012 mobile bills
Three's Euro Internet Pass is available in most EU countries. For instructions on how to activate the service, visit the network provider's website.

So you pay 5 quid for something unlimited that limits you to only use the "low-data consuming" features?
What needs to happen is mobile phone providers cooperating with their counterparts in other countries and offer native rates and costs, perhaps with a small one off fee for activation.

Wish they'd done this earlier in the year. Until overall prices drop across the board it makes it easier to not worry about uploads FB/Twitter etc but for maps, navigation and tripadvisor etc for eating out. Just
Make sure one person in the group is the designated data driver haha
