The revelations have sparked rumours that Apple could be cutting ties with rivals Samsung, who are one of several firms to have produced iPhone screen panels in the past.
In-cell touch-screen components enable manufacturers to create slimmer displays, giving rise to speculation that the next iPhone will sport a more slender form factor.
Apple is said to have begun ordering 4-inch screens from its Asian suppliers, suggesting that the so-called iPhone 5 will feature a larger display than its 3.5-inch predecessors.
The company has allegedly ordered the start of production on the iPhone 5, putting the device in line for release in September or October of this year.

Considering Samsung make the best screens in the world......bad luck Apple, lol

4" is still too small IMO, Apple really need to get with the times, 4.3" is the bare minimum for a high end smart phone in 2012 as far as im concerned.
