OK, I been messing about with it now for a bit and I can say that it is awesome. It's so much nicer to browse through your music using this than the standard music app. I like the little touches like when you click an artist, it grabs a picture from the internet and subtly displays it in the background, It's really smooth to move around (the way metro should be)
the only thing I would like to see is built in air play support and also the albums artwork can take a second to load in. Its not a huge problem but it can break the flow. These are things that can be worked on in an update though.

I don't know, the xbox live app on the iPad is really nice. When Metro is running smoothly it's wonderful to use. I'm definitely gonna try this out, if only because I hate what apple have done the music app in iOS5

I'd be interested to see whether Metro would work with touch screen devices - after all, isn't the point of Windows 8 the fact that it can be run on PCs and tablets alike? I'd like to give this app a chance because the experience might be better with a touch screen.
