Sony has announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system is now available to download for its Tablet S.Users can download the free update by linking up to a WiFi connection and following the update prompt.

Sony launched the PlayStation-certified Tablet S in September last year, followed by the Tablet P in November. The latter device was expected to receive Android 4.0 at the same time as its counterpart, but an update is yet to materialise.
The electronics giant previously pledged to bring the operating system to the Xperia range of smartphones, and maintains that updates for the Xperia arc S, Xperia neo V, and Xperia Ray handsets remain on schedule.
Last month, rumours that Sony is working on a next generation tablet surfaced, following the emergence of a benchmarking listing for a device codenamed V150.
Sony is expected to bring Ice Cream Sandwich to other devices next month.

I did the update and the features and small details rock, the problem is that I use my tablet on the dock for a desktop clock and alarm clock every day and for some reason the screen flickers a lot now, I'm not sure what's going on and if its something conflicting with 4.0 but I have been posting everywhere and yet no one has tried to help fix the issue. overall awesome but still some small tweaks that need to be fixed!
