TV in 2012: How has connected entertainment changed things? - poll

We've come a long way since the family crowded around a single, analogue TV set in the living room.In the past decade there have been great leaps in high definition, on-demand viewing, social media and 3D technology, which have all drastically changed the way we consume entertainment.

Steven Rankin. They are similar - not the same. The range of channels varies between the platforms and I think the HD channels are different too. It is also well reported that the quality of sound and video is better on Freesat than Freeview due to bandwidth issues on the latter.
There is a major hole in the marketing of freesat - it is a wonderfull (free after you buy the box) service and unfortunately overlooked by the public/media. Don't let sky ruin everything!

Only on the TV question - under the later questions (ie: what PVR do you use) there was no other box!

I agree with Ian, where are the freesat options? Its a brilliant platform, something smells a bit fishy to me DS!
