Coronation Street's Faye Windass will reportedly fall pregnant at the age of 12 in a shocking new storyline.

The news will devastate her mum Anna, who has been struggling to cope with her daughter's wayward behaviour for a while.

The Sun reports that bosses are still working out the exact details of the controversial storyline, including who the father is.

Faye, played by Ellie Leach, will become the youngest character in Coronation Street's history to fall pregnant.

Long-term viewers will know that Sarah-Louise Platt gave birth at the age of 13 in 2000.

Faye's storyline is due to start later this year.

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV.
