'Coronation Street' tops Wednesday soap ratings with affair fallout

Coronation Street was the most-watched soap on Wednesday evening (July 25) with the continuing fallout from Karl and Sunita's affair, overnight figures show.The ITV1 drama pulled in 7.35m (39.4%) at 7.30pm and 472k (2.3%) on +1 as Dev tried to save his relationship with Sunita.

EastEnders, meanwhile, attracted 6.24m (32.1%) at 8pm as Tanya stumbled upon a family secret. BBC Three's repeat screening secured 664k (3.3%) at 10pm.
Emmerdale interested 5.91m (34.8%) at 7pm as Rachel and Jai had secret second thoughts about the termination, adding 235k (1.2%) on timeshift.
Hollyoaks managed 711k (4.5%) at 6.30pm on Channel 4 as fears for Cheryl's safety continued, while E4's first look appealed to 395k (2.3%) at 7pm.
Over on Channel 5, Neighbours entertained 657k (10.1%) at 1.45pm and 922k (7.5%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away mustered 670k (4.6%) at 6pm and 465k (3.0%) for 5*'s first look at 6.30pm.
Elsewhere, the latest episode of Doctors - titled 'The Bespectacled Bounder' - was seen by 1.29m (20.0%) at 1.45pm.

Palimoney I think its called..think about it...she worked? in Dev's store she knows the ins and outs they met while she was working for him way back and Maya remember her? She tied her up and left her to die in an explosion because of Dev..emotional distress...she helped Dev dig himself out after the tram crash when he was having financcial problems...She could conceivably go after his business

I have the feeling that Sunita is going to go after Dev's Store!! Think about it both her and Karl are jobless and NOT popular right now cannot be trusted and with no? money coming in what other choice does she have? and it would run true to form right now she is taking everything from Dev why not his business too(bbeing the modern woman running a business,making her won decisions all the things she complained Dev took from her)

good point Paul. I am sick of the sight of Sunita and Karl, no idea why anyone wants to watch them. Their affair was disgusting, felt sick watching them all over eachother and now everyone knows they've been having an affair, nothing has changed. Disgusting

Tasty it is spoiling corrie when everybody knows that they don1t like the three stoogies,if people keep watching this stupid storyline then they are going to continue with this

Paul I agree with you. I don't like the three stoogies and I can't stand Saint Leanne, I am sick to death of that nasty, hypocritical, sanctimonious cow. Putting me off watching Corrie
