Outdoor shots are being consistently delayed due to storms and torrential showers.
A supposed source said: "We're not afraid of rain in Weatherfield but this is getting ridiculous."
Michelle Keegan, who plays Tina McIntyre, wrote on Twitter yesterday morning: "Just filmed the 1st scene on the street n it's taken 2 hours because of the rain!!"
She added in the message: "I think I'm in for a loooooooong day!"
Coronation Street regularly airs five half-hour episodes per week on ITV1.

it's probably not just causing problems for continuity but for their sound team as well. None of us work on a soap opera so we don't really know what's involved. All the snobs who criticise soaps should find another website to ***** on.

Why is there a image of Michelle Keegan exactly?
The Corrie image logo would have been suitable enough surely?

This is Digital Spy. In case you hadn't realised - most of the news reported here is fairly unimportant in the grand scheme of things; that doesn't mean there isn't a place for it. You should try BBC News or some such news outlet.

Replying to Jason5145 - but we all know our weather is unpredictable, we could have a heat wave so it's boiling hot one minute and it could be raining or snowing the next. The joy of living in the UK. So I wouldn't be shocked if the cobbles were bone dry one minute and soaking the next.
If everyone carried an umbrella around with them the problem would be solved.

and Fridays main storyline has been completely shelved. It doesn't rain but it pours! lol

Where on earth did you get that from? The reference to a body being found in a canal has been changed to simply a body being found. Certainly not completely shelved.
