POTD: 'Coronation Street's Rita in wedding day kidnap

Coronation Street legend Rita Sullivan finds herself embroiled in a dangerous battle of wills as her wedding day arrives in tonight's (June 4) double bill of the soap.The drama plays out as Tina McIntyre (Michelle Keegan) takes drastic action to stand up to ruthless Rick Neelan once and for all.
Viewers will see Tina steal the loan shark's latest stash of drugs from the garage, before ordering him to meet her at the canal if he ever wants to see the expensive supply again.
As the pair come face-to-face, Tina thinks she has the upper hand as she threatens to throw the drugs into the water unless Rick agrees to leave Tommy alone.
However, Rick has managed to stay one step ahead - revealing that he has Rita (Barbara Knox) in his car! Tina is then left horrified as Rick threatens to push Rita into the canal unless he gets his supply back.
Tina and Rita try not to be afraid of Rick, but as it becomes clear that he's deadly serious, how will they get out of this mess?

After watching tonights episode (monday) how dare anybody slate other soaps what tripe if the scriptwriters expect us to believe thhat playboy pin up of the century would stand up tp psychos like these come on what next anthony cotton to have a storyline of him getting some of the lasses on corrie pregers nah

how come fake tan and t**s had Rick's phone number on her mobile if she hates him? She grabbed the bag and supposdely drove the car on impulse, yet she just happened to have his contact info at hand...

he kidnaps her for ransom, and to make tina stick to her side of her deal which will be revealed more tonight.
