'Coronation Street's Kate Ford has no plans to quit

The actress, who plays superbitch Tracy Barlow in the ITV1 soap, had been rumoured to be considering quitting.
"I haven't even thought about leaving as I love my job," Ford told the Sunday Mirror. "Everywhere I go people say, 'Are you going to leave?'
"It's because when Katherine Kelly (Becky McDonald) quit, the story went out that I was leaving too. But I was always going to stay for as long as they would have me."
She added: "I think Tracy has always hoped that once Becky was out of the way that her life would be a whole lot easier. But after what's happened since, it will be far from that.
"I think there's a lot more drama on the way. There are loads of twists and turns with this story. Steve and Tracy might be planning their wedding but it will be far from straightforward."
Ford recently admitted that it is fun to play Tracy since she gets to say the most "ridiculous" and "vicious" things.
Kate Ford is a great actress and plays bitchy Tracy really well! I wish everyone would stop slagging her off!

But Tracy is meant to be an OTT character, acting is about playing a character not a person in general.

PLEASE KILL TRACY OFF SO SHE CAN'T COME BACK AGAIN! Kate Ford is a terrible actress and I am so sick of her on the show.

she's a rubbish actress.she has the same facial expressions for every mood and that toothy sneer is so annoying.she has no plans to leave because when she last left nobody else would give her work and she knows she'd be washed up.there's many better actors in the show than her and her stories are soooo predictable.samia has more depth as an actress.since tracy came back all theyve done is basically rehash the tracy/karen story using her and becky.and what happened to tracys retrial.i admit I missed a lot of episodes so will someone fill me in as to what happened to the retrial.that's a genuine question not an insult by the way.she's the reason I don't watch much now, but fair play to those who enjoy her.i wouldn't miss her, but clearly some would.
