The actress confessed that she would consider returning to the show if writers develop Toyah to reflect the age she would be now, having last appeared in Weatherfield in 2003.
"I suppose because it's been so long you could kind of reinvent that character if you want," Taylor told PA. "She's meant to have been in London for the last eight years, so you could paint in a back story of anything happening in those eight years.
"In a way you'd have to reinvent her because I felt most of my time on that show was playing a teenager. I'm 31 now - so automatically that changes things anyway. I'd never say never because I do really love the show."
Speaking of her very first day on the Street, she added: "I just remember I had scenes with Jane Danson, who obviously is back in it. She plays Leanne. I just remember we were in the first scene of the day and the last scene of the day, and in the middle of that we had about nine hours off.
"Normally when you get settled into a show with nine hours off you go: 'Is it all right if we nip out to the shops and have a bit of lunch?' But because it was our first day we sat in the green room for nine hours! We were just so happy to be there. It was so exciting."
Taylor leaves her Casualty role as Dr Ruth Winters on December 10.
She has admitted that she is still more known for Coronation Street than Casualty, despite leaving the soap over eight years ago.

Has anyone/or does anyone know of a campaign to bring Toyah (Georgia Taylor) back to Coronation Street?

Having Toyah back would open more storylines for Leanne. If the character were to return there might be some issues with Stella and Eve since they are blood relatives of Leanne but she is lot closer to Toyah and sees her as her true family. Also Leanne is set to find out she cant have children I think so they could always do a surrogate preganancy storyline with Toyah carrying a child for Leanne. A surrogate pregnancy storyline that DOESn't end with the the surrogate mother decideing to keep the child and cheat the mother out of it. I cant think of any soaps that have done a storyline like that?

It would be interesting to see the dynamic of Toyah and Stella and Eva. How would she react to them as Leanne's family since she is more of a sister to Leanne than Eva would ever be?

Tim Hughes, That made me laugh very much! the best comment on Digital spy i have seen! haha! nice one! I thought similar too. It makes me laugh these old celebs that go on im a celeb they only go on that when they havent got any work, or bored in their current job. Same for the TV game shows when they are a celeb edition, they drag celebs from out of the cupboard that they were safely locked away in and plonk them back in the lime light, only thing is you can still see the cobwebs on their back! When they are on your screen you just want to punch the idiot that found the key that let them out!!

As a character Toyah was not very interesting, maybe a guest visit to see Leanne but shes not a character worth resurecting.
