Hour-long episodeJanine's wedding plans appear to be back on track after all as Ricky, Tiffany, Morgan and Diane all return to the Square. At the same time, Jean remains determined to prove her innocence, so she steals keys from Billy to sneak into Michael's house and look through papers. When a surprised Diane finds her there, Jean claims that her name is Maggie Moon and she's there to collect the buttonholes.
Michael is also having a difficult day as he is taken down to the police station to be questioned over allegations of fraud. After blaming Jean for everything in his police interview, Michael heads back to the Square and is shocked when Diane tells him that his relative Maggie is inside. Shocked to hear his late mother's name, Michael heads inside and confronts Jean, who shows her tough side by grabbing Michael's St Christopher memento and flushing it down the toilet.
Later, it appears that Michael is back to his old tricks when a funeral director arrives to see Jean, declaring that Stacey is dead. The 'news' shocks everyone, until Mo reveals that she has just spoken to her on the phone. When the funeral director claims that he took a call from Jean about a funeral for Stacey, Jean's mental stability is once again called into question. Jean soon begins to lose control as she smashes glasses on the bar and screams about Michael's sick games. Kat is injured among all the commotion - and she soon agrees with Alfie that Jean needs medical help…
Meanwhile, Max and Tanya try to convince Abi that marriage at such a young age would be a huge mistake. Soon afterwards, Max shares the news of Abi and Jay's engagement with Phil, who isn't happy either. Jay remains determined to rebel in the face of disapproval from Max and Phil, but Abi is starting to have second thoughts, especially as Jay seems to assume that she'll be giving up her other ambitions when she marries him. In the end, Abi decides that she will go to Costa Rica.
Elsewhere, Derek forces Anthony to take Alice out on a date, believing that his daughter needs a confidence boost. However, when Anthony picks her up, he finds Derek is coming along as her chaperone. Later, Tyler, Fatboy, Lucy and Poppy joke with Anthony about the best way to let Alice down. When Alice overhears a laughing Anthony practicing a cruel rejection, she gets upset and rushes off - leaving Anthony to face the music with Derek.
Also today, Tanya isn't best pleased when Lauren informs her of how Derek is bullying Lucy.
Michael is taken down to the police station for questioning on allegations of fraud.

Not much of tonight's hour made sense. How many funeral directors call after a single phone call? How often over the last months has Stacy called? And now, coincidentally, just as the funeral director was there?
And Lucy, scared Lucy, stirs it with Alice's mum? Has she not learned to keep her "norf n sarf" shut? Derek is nowhere near menacing enough, else she would not dare speak out of turn like that, or she would be holding up the foundations of some new building!
How many times in one episode are they going to use that ploy of the "accidentally" overheard conversation?
The Jean/Michael thing is now too ridiculous for comment, but why, oh why, do we need the Ginger whingers and Rickaaaay, back?
Some proper writers, PLEASE?
