oh well changes happen its down to the individual on how they accept this. Some deal with it and others find it hard but life is full of changes so GET OVER IT. Besides EE has not been the same for a good while (due to new recruits who cant ACT) SO CHANGING THE CHANNEL FROM BBC 1 to BBC 2 is MINOR and Temporary (Only if some of the new recruits were as temp as the channel change).

I am amazed at the amount of comments that happen the minute any soaps schedule is changed please there is more to life than soaps. I don't agree that the BBC funded by the License payer should show back to back Olympics as not everyone is a sports fan. Honestly try giving up soaps for a week there are other things out there and if they are reducing episode numbers good you might get a decent storyline at times. I think it should go back to twice a week episodes and get the quality back as for the torch relay good grief I can't believe they are going to think we are all so excited about Billy being in it and the "live" birth no one unless they have had a child can do that seriously I expect there will be a few giggles in a program which is usually so down in the dumps.

Soap has done "live birth" before. However, I agree that it is not hard for someone to channel flick to BBC2 to watch Eastenders. Least we know all this well in advance rather than having to discover changes on the fly a la Wimbledon.
