Troubled Ian (Adam Woodyatt) has been absent from Albert Square since last month, when he suffered a nervous breakdown and exited down a dual carriageway in his bare feet.
The cafe owner's problems, which included his debt and his struggle to look after Lucy and Bobby, reached a head when he was jilted by fiancée Mandy Salter on their wedding day.
EastEnders will air Ian Beale's return on Tuesday, July 31 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

I'm looking forward to his return to see how the actor handles everything. As for the complaints about the hair growing so fast.
1. He left in May and is coming back in July that 2-3 months time.
2. His hair was extremely short to begin with
3. His hair is very oily in the pictures and his wearing a hair, that all pushes your hair down to make it look longer
4. It's just a TV show stop freaking about how "unrealistic" it is. You want realism go become a homeless person for the same amount of time come back and measure your hair.
and 5. Everyone's hair grows differently! My hair grows just as fast as his does. It all depends on genes and vitamins that are in a person's body,
So take a chill pill and just watch the show lol

Why are you so obsessed with Ian's hair, could it be that you have an Ian Beale fetish

It'll only take him two to three episodes to get over it, then it will be like it never happened.
