'EastEnders': Ian Beale's desperate plea - unseen picture

EastEnders fans see Ian Beale and Mandy Salter's storyline reach an emotional climax tonight (May 25) as the pair face big decisions over their future.It's the day of the couple's wedding, but a disapproving Lucy can't resist throwing another spanner in the works by issuing an ultimatum to her father - choose her or Mandy.
However, as Ian's behaviour continues to spiral out of control, it seems that the choice could be taken out of his hands as Mandy is losing patience with him.

As shown in our picture, when Ian sees that Mandy has taken her wedding dress off, he desperately begs her not to leave.
Ian then urges Mandy to go ahead with her plans to marry him, but what will she do?
EastEnders airs these scenes tonight at 8pm on BBC One.

What a waste of Mandy's character, too bad she was in it for such a short time, seems silly to bring her back to let her go again.

I have never liked the character of Ian Beale however I think the actor played the breakdown scene absolutely brilliantly, I was gripped and found the acting very realistic and compelling! Yes, will be interesting to see what materialises next...actually really felt for the character, well done!

flemming98 it's because the episodes are acted out about 3 months before they are actully shown on tv so lorraine newman has actully taken over but won't be exective producer on the credits till about july.

I actually felt really bad for Ian at the end of the episode. It actually almost made me cry. I'm interested to see what happens now. The actor did a really good job with the breakdown. If you have never seen someone have one or even have one yourself you probably wouldn't notice much.
