'EastEnders' Matt Lapinskas: 'I'd like to try movies, Strictly'

The actor - who plays Anthony Moon in the BBC One soap - confirmed his exit earlier this month, having joined in July last year.
Lapinskas told BBC Radio 1 that he intends to try taking the step up to movie roles in the future, while also hoping for a spot in this year's Strictly Come Dancing.
"I'm loving it [at EastEnders]. It's been a great year," he said. "Obviously I'm leaving in a little while.
"I should be on screen until around September. I loved my time there, there's fantastic actresses and actors there.
"I'd love to go off and do some great films. I'd love to work with Guy Richie, that's pushing it out there a bit! I'd love to do Strictly as well."
Anthony Moon's storylines in the soap have included romances with Poppy Meadow and Amira Shah, as well as a dangerous escapade with Derek Branning.
Nice to see an ex-soap actor realise his life is destined for Strictly and begging for his job back so gets on with it before he has even left! Still got to give him high marks for his "going to break into Hollywood" speech that is standard speech for a young actor leaving a soap!

Not likely. He was only employed for his looks and not his acting skills same as his wooden co-star, ask Bryan Kirkwood.

Don't think Guy Ritchie will be calling him anytime soon. Appalling actor/character, a complete waste of space. His time on EastEnders has been a complete disaster and unfortunately Anthony will go down as one of the worst characters ever to grace the square. I expect he will finally get his own storyline just to exit the show. Tony Discipline also needs to be axed as Tyler serves no purpose either and never has.
