With Zara at work, Daniel ignores Joe in his bouncy chair, lying inert on the sofa. He then tries to feed Joe, but when the food is splattered back in his face, he throws the bowl down to the floor in frustration and resorts to a glass of vodka.
Meanwhile, as Kevin watches Karen and Elaine laughing at a patient anecdote, he comments to Mandy that they've forgotten about Freya already. When Patti arrives, he tries to avoid seeing her, but Mandy overhears Karen lying for him. Mandy goes to Kevin and tells him that he should have had the decency to see Patti, but when Kevin confides in her that he feels he should have been the one that died, Mandy is surprised by how stricken he is.
Later, Mandy suggests to Kevin that they should go for a walk, but when they encounter Patti, Kevin knows she's set him up. However, talking to Patti about Freya's blog begins to help him and Mandy suggests they need to go back to Michaela's place to get closure.
Elsewhere, Jimmi deals with a man who has taken the law into his own hands to avenge his wife's hit and run accident.

Zara is a very difficult individual to understand, she swings from the perfect mother to someone quite selfish and Daniel is finding coming second in line to Joe very difficult to accept.Cherry just happened to be there when they both needed someone to listen to their problems. Now their problems are going to get worse.Poor Jimmy.

Typical! Daniel's heart wasn't totally into having another child and being sidelined by Zara was inevitable. An affair with not long wed Cherry, different. Shame that Karen fantasy wasn't explored as they have chemistry. I wonder if Mandy will turn to Kevin in their shared grief?
