'Hollyoaks' Scott actor Calvin Demba announces exit

Calvin Demba has announced that he is leaving Hollyoaks after nearly a year.The actor made his first appearance as laid-back student Scott Sabeka in September 2011.

Demba wrote on Twitter over the weekend: "Last day at oaks yesterday was cool gonna miss everyone apart from [Rob Edwards actor David Atkins] ... He's a pagon."
Channel 4 has since confirmed to Digital Spy that Demba filmed his final scenes on Friday, July 13.
Demba, also a boxer, told DS in April that he was glad writers had integrated a storyline involving his sporting passion.
Hollyoaks airs on weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first-look episodes screened half an hour later at 7pm on E4.
Am very annoyed about this after all the build up between Scott and Annalise. What a waste. And I like the Scott. Doesn't have to be a Silas/Brendan sort of character to have to work in the show. They never really gave him the chance to be memorable and sadly he'll be forgotten in a month or so after he's left. Not just by the viewers but also his college friends and Annalise (who they better not put back with Rob!)

The actor was wooden and the character was a bit dull but despite that I thought his character and Annaleise were quite good together!

he hasn't been in it for ages. i hope they've built up a good storyline in time and haven't got him turn up and say "bye".

Hot, but an appalling actor. The best scene with him in it was when he was walking about in just his boxers.
