'Hollyoaks' star Kieron Richardson teases Ste's Brendan, Doug dilemma

Kieron Richardson has revealed details of next week's twist in Ste's Hollyoaks love life.Speaking to Inside Soap, the actor declared that abusive ex-boyfriend Brendan Brady (Emmett Scanlan) will next week manipulate his alter ego into reigniting their relationship at the expense of Doug Carter (PJ Brennan).

"This is typical Brendan - he's messing with Ste's head," Richardson told Inside Soap. "He tells him he's changed, and promises their relationship will be different this time.
"Ste has a tough choice to make: either stick with Doug, or take a big leap of faith with Brendan."
The star further teased: "We're going to see a very big reaction from Doug in the final episode of the week.
"We've got the 'Stendan' fans, and now the 'Stoug' army. Both camps will be very happy as the week goes on, but by Friday, their worlds will be rocked as well."
Richardson recently stated that he prefers filming Ste's happier romance with Doug to his alter ego's dark relationship with Brendan.

Whatever they do with either relationship, they have messed them both up (IMO). Stendan's chemistry is/was great but Brendan is and it seems will always be a man whose darkness will forever be part of him. They won't make him a good person because they are saying he's not capable of being that. So he and Ste can't have a happy ever after.
With Stug, they have more or less ruined what could have been a good couple with their haste to get them together. Sure some people realise a lot quicker that they are gay but in order for their audience to find their SL believeable they should have paste it better. As many fans that Stug have, they have too many others that feel the SL is unrealistic. And also the fact that one of the actors came on here to read the comments and was disappointed with some of what he read should tell him that that although most have like his acting in the story, it's the turn around in his character that doesn't ring true.
They need to decide and hopefully it gonna happen this week coming who Ste finally decides to be with because they need the Stendan or Stug fans know it's over and done with and not keep stringing it out for longer. All the actors involved deserve better than that. Personally I think with all the clues they've been giving over the last two or three weeks of SL it would seem the 'epic' love of Stug will win out. *roll eyes* If they are still together this time next year then maybe I'll start believing in them over the twisted, destructive relationship that was Stendan.

I'm so over Ste and Brendan and the people that think they belong together. Brendan is a monster any way you look at it there's no redeeming him. I would love it if Brendan/Ste fans would get involved in an abusive relationship so they can see how "romantic" it is.
