Zak (Steve Halliwell) was recently sectioned after suffering a mental breakdown, but episodes airing early next month see him beg the doctors to let him go.
Although Zak has been making progress, there is some debate over whether he's well enough to re-join his family back at the cottage. In the end, though, he is discharged and Lisa arrives to collect him from the hospital.
Magazine reports say that Zak's ordeal isn't over yet, however, as he is soon faced with two loan sharks who are chasing up a debt that he owes.
Zak's financial troubles soon take their toll on him, which culminates in more erratic behaviour when he tries to flee from a taxi because he can't pay the fare.
Soon afterwards, Zak admits himself back into hospital after realising that he isn't yet ready for life back in the village. How will Zak's family deal with his sad struggle?
Emmerdale airs these scenes in the week commencing Monday, June 4 on ITV1.

This is a great storyline and i think Trevor will more than likely become a regular in the show after the Zak storyline comes full circle.

I find TREVOR, the young man who plays Zak's care a welcome addition to Emmerdale. In fact he looks more like Megan Massy that the guy cast as her son Robbie. Anyone know who plays TREVOR, hope he sticks around.

He won't be a full-time character if he doesn't even live in the village or have personal connections beyond Zak.
