Soaps Ratings Roundup: October 13

Emmerdale led the midweek soaps ratings table with almost 7m, early viewing figures show.

Sneaky Carl's pledge to dump Chas was seen by 6.95m (33.2%) on ITV1 between 7pm and 7.30pm.

Waterloo Road then picked up 4.3m (17.9%) on BBC One for an episode of the school serial centred around homeless Vicki.

Elsewhere, 'The Flood' in Doctors grabbed the attention of 1.27m (15.8%) at the usual time of 1.45pm.

Meanwhile, Hollyoaks mustered just 974k (4.8%), after which E4's first look had 408k (1.9%).

Over on Five, Neighbours managed 842k (10.5%) at 1.45pm, and 1.29m (9%) at 5.30pm, while Home and Away logged 339k (4.8%) at 2.15pm, and 846k (4.7%) at 5.30pm. Fiver's first look won 422k (2.1%).
