The former Alaskan governor took to her Twitter account yesterday to voice her appreciation for Brady Bunch actress Henderson, who was voted off the ABC competition on Tuesday night.
"Florence Henderson... what a lovely lady! What a story! She reflects grace, beauty, energy, inspiration," she wrote.
"America loves you, Florence."
The politician has been spotted in the audience at Dancing With The Stars on several occasions this season to support her teenage daughter Bristol, who is still competing on the programme.
Bristol - who is paired with Mark Ballas - recently said that she will miss seeing Henderson on the show, describing the actress as her "best friend" in the competition.
Meanwhile, Henderson - who previously admitted that she was "surprised" to be eliminated - tweeted her thanks to fans of the show yesterday, saying: "Thank you all so much 4 ur amazing love & support. [Dance partner Corky Ballas] and I will be eternally grateful and in ur debt. (sic)"
Dancing With The Stars continues next Monday at 8/7c on ABC.
