Nicki Minaj on 'feud' with Jennifer Lopez: 'I love and respect Jennifer'

Nicki Minaj has said that she "loves and respects" Jennifer Lopez after their short playful banter on American Idol.Minaj was the musical guest at American Idol during its elimination episode on Thursday (March 29), to promote her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.

Minaj expressed her desire to appear on the show again but this time as a guest judge.
"I was hoping maybe I could come back and be a guest judge," Minaj said. "J-Lo, can you scoot over a little bit?"
Jennifer Lopez shot back: "I don't know if there's enough room for both of us."
"She didn't seem to be having it but she gonna have it!" Minaj told The Hollywood Reporter.
"No, actually, I love J-Lo. I love what she's done for pop culture, I have nothing but respect for her, and we were just joking around. I'm sure I'll have lots of fun with them when I'm guest judging."
Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will be released on April 2 in the UK and April 3 in the US.

Samuel Storey so her achievements of 7 songs simultaneously on billboard and a song that is 4x platinum as well as an album that was certified platinum a month after sale isn't about her music?

Chad Rebisz You're twisting what I'm saying. Lady Gaga is different, I'm not a big fan of hers but she is talented, she's a good singer and plays the piano well. Nicki is just a clown, with bad raps. How am I contradicting myself? You said "she's got a million followers blah blah", I said that that means jack all. The music is what matters. Nicki's albums received BAD REVIEWS OVERALL. Metacritic is the average score of what her albums were rated. Every respected music reviewers agrees with me that she is nothing special and looks like a Burger King clown.
She gets these things because she is popular, I never denied that. There are plenty of non-talented artists who made it big at one point. It wasn't an insult, it was a fact. Nicki's core audience are young females and gay men.

Samuel Storey lol you just don't get it do you? just because you don't like them doesn't take away their talent. i don't like lady gaga but i'm not denying her talent. they all have talent in their own ways.
you're contradicting yourself by saying my statistics don't mean anything but then go onto say " Nicki's album only got a 6.7 on metacritic".
the fact that she's worked with a huge number of artists and producers shows people want her on their song. the artists, producers and even brands (versace, pepsi) who request her aren't stupid little girls and gay guys (which by the way is the most childish insult ever, labelling somebody as gay because they like a certain artists)?

Chad Rebisz Nicki isn't Hip-Hop or rap. She doesn't represent Hip-Hop. She's a Pop artist. It doesn't mean jack, critical acclaim and respect means a lot more. Nicki's album only got a 6.7 on metacritic. That says something. Her music like her is whack.
What is Britiney's talent then? The fact that she can't sing? Her recycled Janet Jackson dances? Or the fact that she can't write music, produce or play instruments. Justin Bieber sings (without auto-tune) flatter than a pankcake. Their only talent is that they are attractive and appeal to stupid little girls and gay guys. Same for Nicki.

Samuel Storey she's the only mainstream rapper doing anything for the female rap game at the moment. granted she's not the best rapper but she's something different. she brings something different to her songs. she could feature on rebecca blacks friday and make it a huge hit just by her verse because she's crazy and inventive. she's the only female artist to be featured on MTV's hot MC list.
you can't say it doesn't mean jack when it does. you keep referring to britney spears but again, she's like one of the queens of pop. she obviously has talent in some form to get her a title like that.
justin bieber, probably one of the most disliked artists around at the moment, holds the record for the most disliked youtube video (baby, more then 2m dislikes) yet you can't deny he doesn't have talent regardless of whether you like him or not.
