The Real Housewives of Orange County star explained that she was told last year that she had cervical cancer that needed to be removed.
Barney told Life & Style that she was told the cancer was "bad" and "stage four", but that it was successfully removed.
However, she explained that the incident made her rethink her implants, saying: "I was freaked out that cancer would be behind the implants, so I took them out altogether... It's just one of those things where you're like, 'OK, you know what? I have to take control of my own body'."
Barney joked that her fiancé Eddie Judge likes her breasts "a lot better" now and revealed that she also has a "different outlook on life" now that she is in her 40s.
"You get a little more confident, giving up that part of you where you care too much what people think," she said. "It's the best thing I've ever done."
The seventh season of Real Housewives of Orange County airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.

Ash Dryden yes she is she looks really young too. I am glad she took the implants out too as they can interfere with the results when people go for mammograms.

Ash Dryden Well then I hope the magazine is correct. I am not saying she didn't just that stage 4 is almost terminal. If she has beaten it good on her!

It's not DS that needs to check the facts as they are quoting a source that DS is writing off. It's Life&Style that published these "facts"
