Emeli Sandé 'marries long-time boyfriend in Montenegro'

Emeli Sandé has reportedly married her long-time boyfriend Adam Gouraguine.

The Scottish singer is said to have wed her marine biologist partner at a small ceremony in his homeland of Montenegro yesterday (September 15), according to the Daily Record.



Locals in the town of Kostor alleged that the wedding was held at the Porto Montenegro marina.

Sandé has dated Gouraguine for seven years, and she has reportedly stated that she will take his surname and be known as Emeli Sandé Gouraguine.

"I want to be the part of his life and his family, so I want to add his surname," she is quoted as saying.

"I would also love to have a Montenegrin passport. I want to be part of his tradition. I grew up in a family of two different cultural backgrounds, so I embraced both.

"One day when we have kids, I'd like them to be the part of these two different cultures."

A source revealed: "It was a fairly traditional service in the evening. Emeli looked beautiful in a designer dress. Her fiancé wore a lounge suit.

"There will be more celebrations before everyone heads home, but Emeli now has some time off so will get to enjoy a proper honeymoon."

Sandé reportedly did not sing at the alleged wedding, having previously played a free gig in the town the night before.

The 'Next to Me' singer currently holds the best-selling album of 2012 in the UK with her debut record Our Version of Events.
