Anthea Turner 'kicks out husband Grant Bovey over affair'

Anthea Turner has kicked husband Grant Bovey out over an alleged affair, according to reports.

The TV star told her husband of 12 years to leave their home after finding out that he had been seeing a 24-year-old behind her back, says The Mirror.



Bovey's affair was allegedly discovered by a friend of Turner's, who spotted him and a young brunette kissing at a restaurant in London.

Bovey reportedly insisted to his wife that the woman was just a 'friend' who he became close to while Turner was working in Canada.

However, 52-year-old Turner did not believe him and kicked him out of the house.

The presenter, who apparently said that she is "completely devastated" over the affair, is thought to have the support of her three step-daughters from Bovey's previous marriage to Della Bovey. She and the three girls allegedly had a heated argument with Bovey before he left the house in Hascombe, Surrey.

A source close to the family said: "Grant's girls are 100% behind her. They adore Anthea. It's caused a massive problem."

A friend of Turner said Bovey had told her on Thursday that he was going with a friend to a rehearsal for the ­Olympic Opening Ceremony. However, when Turner apparently texted the friend to let them know she was thinking of them, she received a reply saying that Bovey wasn't there.
