Noel Gallagher launches new Manchester City kit

Noel Gallagher has helped launch Manchester City's latest football kit.

The lifelong Man City fan joined captain Vincent Kompany for the Premier League champions' new 'Show Your City' campaign with Umbro.



Last summer, his brother and former bandmate Liam Gallagher had been on hand to launch their new kit.

Kompany recently introduced Noel Gallagher on stage to a crowd of 80,000 at the Rock Werchter festival.

The defender said: "I always look forward to returning to Belgium but this really was a special occasion and a moment to savour. Noel is obviously a huge star so I was happy to introduce him in front of 80,000 fans in my home country."

Talking at the kit's launch, Gallagher said: "The new home kit is pure class. It might be the best one we've had in a decade.

"As modern and radical as it is though, it's nice to see Umbro keeping our heritage alive in the new away kit. The best dressed defending champions of all time? No doubt."

Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds will release their latest single 'Everybody's on the Run' on August 6.
